It’s been a bit quiet around these parts lately! If you’re curious what I’ve been up to then this is the post for you.
Since the last blog post about the Hackathon, I wrapped up my Master’s project in 3D object detection with Erik Sudderth (you can read the paper here).
When I wasn’t working on research, I tried to get outside with my friends by camping in Shenandoah, rock climbing in western Massachusetts, and hiking Franconia Notch (to list a few).
In May I graduated with my second degree from Brown University (a master’s in Computer Science) and said goodbye to a school + town that put up with me for six years!
Right after graduation, my friend Emily and I road tripped from Providence to Nashville to celebrate, hitting up a couple national parks and some amazing climbing on the way! You can read more about it at liuber.tumblr.com, the blog Emily kept along the way.
After roadtripping to Nashville, I started work in Palo Alto, California! Ever since I was a kid I’ve wanted to move to California, so getting to live here is like a dream come true!
Over the past few months I’ve been growing into my new home in Mountain View and adjusting to life as a Californian. Stay tuned for posts about my new projects + adventures 🙂
